Henrik’s passion is to combine academic expertise with entrepreneurial drive to leverage nudging and behavior change for sustainability. He holds a BSc in Environmental & Sustainability Studies and an MA in Leadership for Sustainability. Henrik has experience from working at the San Francisco Department of the Environment and the multinational Boehringer Ingelheim, and has co-founded his own start-up in the food retailing industry: “Plietsch” integrates a section of package-free, organic, regional products into a full-range supermarket, thereby making sustainable grocery shopping simple, affordable and accessible to a broad customer group. The plietsch-concept is pilot-implemented in a department store of Germany’s largest food-retailer, EDEKA, and Henrik currently works on bringing it to other supermarkets across the country.
